Space shooter

Having gotten my first glimpse of game design when installing 'that level editor Worldcraft' with half-Life, I've grown a bit of a fascination for game design. This resulted in various projects and one of them was an assignment during college to create a mobile phone game for the local library. Once I was done, I always wanted to revisit the mobile phone gaming idea.
Fast forward one or two years later and I decide to boldy program that which has been programmed before; a space shooter. While the concept may not be terribly original, programming one certainly is an interesting and fun challenge. And who knew I would ever succeed in creating a crude type of artificial intelligence? I certainly didn't!
While it's not done yet (not by a long shot, probably), I am having fun creating it. And who knows; You might just end up playing it on your mobile phone!
